Ethiopian Airlines Receives Best Customer Service Awards

Ethiopian-AirlinesThe Ghana Customer Service Excellence Awards has adjudged Ethiopian Airlines as the best in the customer service.

The Airline was honoured at the 5th Ghana Customer Service Conference and Awards event held in Accra.

The Customer Service Awards is dedicated to honouring excellence in service delivery.

This year’s event was held on the theme: “Putting Customer Service first, a key to business growth and economic sustenance.”

Mr Hector Wulf, the founder of the Awards, presenting the citation to the Airline, expressed the hope that management of the Airline would maintain the standards of customer care in the aviation industry.

Mrs Genet Michael, the Area Manager of the Airline, thanked organisers of the awards for recognizing the efforts of the Airline.

“The awards will motivate all of us to work harder and achieve the best performance,” she said.

She said the Airline was now the largest in Africa, the most profitable, the best technology leader with the largest aviation academy on the continent.

“We are achieving the main predominant objective in our vision 2025; which is to become the leading aviation group in Africa,” she said.

The Area Manager said the introduction of the Airbus to their fleet would make the Airline once again the first African Airline to fly the newest plane in the world.

The Airline used the opportunity to recognize and reward some travel agencies dedicated to supporting the Airline in the country.

The agencies included: Satguru Travel and Tour Service Limited, Platinum tours, GS plaza travels, Travel matters, Melcom travel and tour limited, Afro wrings limited and Poza travels.
