Israel Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Avigdor Liberman and the Foreign Affairs Minister of Ghana, Ms Hanna Tetteh on June 16, 2014 signed two memorandums of understanding to deepen bilateral relations.

The agreement was signed to allow Israeli and Ghanaian foreign mission spouses take up job opportunities in Ghana and Israel.

The second agreement summarises the outcome and activities of the visit of Mr Liberman to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, where he paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene.

Mr. Avigdor Liberman expressed gratitude to the Minister for welcoming him and his team into the country and prayed that the signed agreement became a success to transform the two countries.

He said the business delegation that would be coming into the country would help provide a more comfortable atmosphere for the two countries to strengthen ties for economic development.

Mr. Liberman said this would improve the trade relations both countries are currently enjoying to harness more developmental initiatives.
