Lufthansa German airlines is inviting Ghanaians to celebrate the 2014 World Cup Champions win by Germany with a 40 per cent discount off any fare in Business or Economy class to any destination served by Lufthansa.
The discount was to celebrate the German national team winning the world cup last Sunday, July 13, at the just ended tournament held in Brazil.
Ghana Country Manager for Lufthansa, Mr. Kevin Markette told Ghana News Agency on Thursday that July 17 and Friday July18 July, passengers in Ghana who book and purchase tickets at the Lufthansa office in Accra could avail themselves of the discount.
“The discount applies to the fares only, normal taxes are applied. This offer can be availed on Thursday and Friday this week only,” he stressed.
Germans are still celebrating its fourth World cup victory as crowds are reported to have thronged the ‘fan zone” at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate to welcome their heroes, who were flown home Tuesday on a Lufthansa aircraft.
