Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur today received a message from Pope Francis, Head of the Roman Catholic Church, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
The message was delivered at the Flagstaff House, at Kanda, in Accra.
Rev Fr Cosma Ambrosini, Charge d’ Affaire of the Embassy of the Holy Sea, presented the message to the Vice President.
The message was believed to have been compliments to Government and People of Ghana for wishing the Pope well in his assignment.
It may also centre on renewed assurance to strengthen ties between the Catholic Church and Ghana.
