ECOWAS Brown Card Board Sworn In

ecowas_logoThe ECOWAS Brown Card Ghana National Bureau swore-in a five-member board at the National Insurance Commission (NIC) auditorium last week.

The new board members include Kwame Ofori, Executive Director Enterprise Insurance, as Chairman. Others are Sonny Howard-Mills, Managing Director Phoenix Insurance; Godfred Jangne, Managing Director Millennium Insurance Company; Aretha Duke, Deputy Managing Director Ghana Union Assurance; and Bode Oseni Regency Alliance.

Gabriel Glover, Chief Executive Officer of the Scheme, said arguably Ghana National Bureau is the most viable of schemes.

He revealed that fake brown cards are now less in the system. According to him Ghana’s Bureau is one of the well-managed ones. Larry Jiagge, Managing Director, Risk Management and Advisory Service (RIMAS), made presentations to the immediate-past board members.

They include Steve Kyeremateng immediate past-chairman; Nii Otinkorang Ankrah, Vice Chairman; and Cornelius Saraki, member.
