ILO To Publish Study On Women In Business

ILO-LogoThe International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) Bureau for Employers’ Activities, is to launch a new study “Women in Business and Management: Gaining Momentum” on Monday, January 12.

A statement issued by the ILO and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday said the report would bring together available data and the organisation’s statistics to provide a comprehensive, up to-date and global picture of women in the business world and in management positions.

It would highlight the business case for gender diversity and the obstacles women still face as well as ways to move ahead.

It would also underline the fact that women’s presence in the labour market is increasingly significant for economic growth and development at both enterprise and national levels.
