Ms Sun Baohong, Chinese Ambassador in Ghana, has expressed her country’s continuous desire to support Ghana in its efforts to provide infrastructural development to enhance quality education.

To this end, she said, the Chinese government would provide the Awutu-Beraku Junior High School with a three-storey school block, two offices, an Information Communication Technology (ICT), a library and a place of convenience.

Ms Baohong expressed her government’s wish when she addressed the chiefs and people of the Awutu Traditional Area, after inspecting some Chinese-funded projects in the Awutu/Senya West District at Awutu-Beraku.

She paid glowing tribute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Awutu/Senya, Ms Hannah Tetteh, for her efforts, saying that “Anytime Ms Tetteh approaches me for vital discussions on diplomatic issues, she expressed the need for China to assist Ghana in her efforts at providing quality education for Ghanaians.”

She promised to put up more credible services to win not only the trust and confidence of the Chinese Ambassador, but also all foreign diplomats in the country, in order to strengthen the existing bilateral relationships between Ghana and their countries.
