In the line up of events for the 50th Anniversary of the African Union (AU), the National Planning Committee for the AU and the Ministry of Information is organising an Africa Union (AU) peace walk.
The walk will start from the El-Wak Sports Stadium and end at the AU Liberation Center at Ridge on May 24, 2013.
A press release issued on May 20, 2013, stated that, members of the Diplomatic Corps, various keep fit clubs, invited members of the Public and security personnel will be present.
There would also be first aid and ambulance service.
The walk will start at 6:00PM.
