
More Heads of State have joined their colleagues in Accra for the ECOWAS mid-year Summit being hosted by President John Dramani Mahama.
The Presidents of Togo and Sierra Leone respectively, Fauré Gnassingbé and Ernest Bai Koroma, arrived on Thursday morning, as did the Vice Presidents of Liberia and Gambia.
The Foreign Ministers of Cape Verde and Guinea have also arrived.
Also present at the Summit is the representative of the United Nations Secretary-General.
The Summit, which is underway, is expected to address some pertinent issues concerning members of the bloc.
