Ghana’s First Lady holds talks with Zambian counterpart

Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama, Ghana’s First Lady, has held discussions with her Zambian counterpart, Mrs Mutinta Hichilema, in Lusaka to explore areas of cooperation in social development initiatives.

Mrs Mahama and her husband, President John Dramani Mahama, are on a three-day official visit to Zambia at the invitation of President Hakainde Hichilema.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the two First Ladies to exchange views on their ongoing programmes.

It also enabled them to identify areas where Ghana and Zambia could collaborate to enhance community impact.

Discussions focused on sharing experiences from their respective social development initiatives.

They also explored potential partnerships, identified avenues for mutual support and reaffirmed their commitment to programmes aimed at improving the welfare of women, children and vulnerable communities.
