President Mahama To Speak On Ebola And West African Security

President John Mahama will today, Wednesday, speak at the UK House of Commons on Ebola and the Security Situation in the West African Sub-region.

Hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group, President Mahama, who is Chair of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government will continue his advocacy for a more stained international support for the affected countries.

President Mahama will also address a number of investment roundtables with the Royal African Society and Chatham House today.

In a related development, President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama, will tomorrow pay a courtesy call on Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace in London.

Queen Elizabeth II, Head of State of the United Kingdom is also the constitutional monarch of fifteen other countries and Head of the Commonwealth, of which Ghana is a member.

Thursday’s meeting is part of a number of official engagements the President will be undertaking in London next week.

This includes an address to the All Party Parliamentary Group at the House of Commons on Ebola and Security in the West African Sub-region, and host investment sessions at the Chatham House and the Royal African Society.

President Mahama will also open a UK-Ghana Investment Forum and The Global African Investment Summit.
