Singapore Pledges Scholarships For Ghanaian Students in Technical Education

The High Commissioner of Singapore to Ghana, Hawazi Daipi, has expressed his country’s readiness to offer scholarship opportunities to Ghanaian students pursuing technical education in Singapore.

He made the pledge during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, on April 8, where both nations reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations, particularly in technical education and financial technology (Fintech).

Mr Ablakwa emphasised the critical role technical education plays in national development, noting that collaboration between industry and academia is essential for Ghana’s progress.

He also lauded the strong partnership between Ghana and Singapore and expressed appreciation for Singapore’s continued support across multiple sectors.
