Chinese Ambassador Interacts With Visa Applicants

The Ambassador of China to Ghana, H.E Sun Baohong paid a working visit to the consular office of the Embassy of China on April 9th, 2014, where she warmly interacted with Ghanaian visa applicants.

The newly posted Ambassador inspected the visa hall, application counter as well as the offices, in attempt to familiarize herself with the operations of the visa service and the working procedure of the consular office in detail.

Ambassador Sun extended her best wishes to the Ghanaian applicants, inquiring from them about their travel experiences in China, as well as soliciting for suggestions and advice on how to best improve the services of the consular section of the Embassy.

She also exchanged discussed issues bordering on how Ghana and China could further strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation in various fields.

Ambassador Sun said that “resent years have witnessed rapid development of trade and peoples’ exchanges between the two countries. More and more Ghanaian friends go to China for visiting, doing business and study.”

She emphasized that the Embassy will endeavor in improving visa services and promoting exchanges between both countries.

To climax her visit, Ambassador Sun presented applicants with books about China and also took a photograph with the group, who were extremely excited by the Ambassador’s gesture.
