ECOWAS Condemns Ivorian Terrorist Attacks

ecowas_logoThe ECOWAS Commission has condemned the terrorist attacks, which caused the death of 18 people and injured many others in Grand Bassam, La Cote d’Ivoire, on Sunday, March 13.

“The Commission and all ECOWAS institutions condemn in the strongest terms this terrorist act… and assure the people and the Ivorian Government of our full solidarity,” said a statement issued by the Commission and made available to the Ghana News Agency.

The Commission expressed condolences to the families of victims and said it was closely monitoring the development in order to lend the needed support to the Ivorian people and their Government.
