France Investing $1.2b In Bilateral Trade With Ghana

Ghana-France-flagFrance is investing $1.2 billion in bilateral trade with Ghana, according to the French Ambassador to Ghana.

The GNA cites Mr Frederic Clavier, saying France is investing $1.2 billion dollars in bilateral trade with Ghana and gave the assurance that more would be achieved in the coming years.

He also expressed satisfaction that more French investors were doing business in Ghana.

Meanwhile, Mrs Nicole Bricq, French Minister for Foreign Trade in Accra, has announced that the France was keen to increase its trade, which represented $1.37 billion for the year 2012 and investment shares in the country.

Mrs Bricq said this when she led a delegation of French businesses in Ghana to hold talks with government officials last week.

She said a number of French companies have made some substantial investments in the banking, harbor, petroleum and hotel sectors among others in Ghana.
