Italian Embassy invites entries for Invest Your Talent in Italy scholarships

The Italian Embassy has announced that Ghanaian graduate students can now apply for its Invest Your Talent in Italy scholarships.

Invest Your Talent in Italy is a Programme sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in partnership with ITA – Italian Trade Agency and Uni – Italia, with the support of Unioncamere (Italian Chambers of Commerce) and Confindustria (Conferderation of Italian Industries) to provide 84 scholarships to students from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana (the ONLY West African Country), India, Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.

Invest Your Talent in Italy offers an opportunity to develop one’s skills through a range of Master’s and Postgraduate courses in English geared towards improving academic technical and professional skills, and on-the-job training at leading Italian companies, while completing your academic work that provides skills for your future career.

“Scholarships and student support services will aid you throughout your stay in Italy, with a yearly sum of €8,000, including exemptions of university fees, welcoming and orientation, and Italian language courses,” a press statement said.

More than 150 courses in Engineering, Advanced Technologies, Architecture, Design, Economics and Management are available.

General entry qualification required: A three or four year bachelor’s degree.

Specific entry requirements will depend on the chosen course. PLEASE NOTE that “Laurea Magistrale” corresponds to a Master Degree which is the only degree that grants access to third cycle programmes, also known as PhD, and a “Masters” corresponds to a Postgraduate Degree which is a two-year programme for specialization in courses, which guarantees a more practical education but does not give access to further level of studies.
