President Mahama In Copenhagen For 2-Day Visit

President-Mahama-ArrivingPresident John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Copenhagen for a two-day official visit at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark, H.E. Helle Thorning-Schmidt.

Shortly after his arrival from London, President Mahama joined a plenary of the ongoing 4th Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) on ‘Transforming the Food Sector’. He later attended an official dinner hosted by the Prime Minister and attended by the Crown Prince of Denmark.

On the second day of his visit, President Mahama will deliver the keynote address at the 3GF on the theme, ‘Facing the Consumer’ where he will share his vision for sustainable living in Ghana and the conditions required to support Ghana’s emerging middle class consumers.

Mr Mahama will hold discussions with the Danish PM, the Crown Prince and meet with the Confederation of Danish Industry. He will return to London at the end of the two-day visit.
