Mr Andrei Ordash, the Russian Ambassador to Ghana has paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama at the Presidency in Accra.
A statement issued by the Russian Embassy said during the meeting, the two parties discussed a wide range of issues regarding further strengthening of friendly relations between Russia and Ghana, including deepening of trade, economic, and investment cooperation; expanding of cultural and humanitarian ties, and improving of the bilateral legal framework.
It noted that both sides also touched on the preparation of participation of a Ghanaian delegation in the 3rd Russia–Africa Summit, scheduled to take place in Moscow on 28-29 October 2026.
