Trinidad/Tobago And Ghana Need To Cement Cordial Relations – Consul

Ghana-Trinidad-and-TobagoMr Hilton John Mitchell, the Honorary Consul of Trinidad and Tobago in Ghana, has underscored the need to strengthen the existing cordial bilateral relations between the two countries.

Mr Mitchell who made the call at an Anniversary Cocktail organized by his country’s High Commission in Accra to mark its 39th Republic Day celebration, said the healthy relationship between the two nations showed how far both countries had come.

He said school children in his country were enjoying free education from the basic to the tertiary level, as a result of its oil wealth.

The Honorary Consul said, apart from free education, the children were enjoying free breakfast and lunch, and transportation.

Free health care enjoyed by the school children was extended to the aged, he added.

Among dignitaries at the reception were Nii Osah Mills, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Ms Samia Yaba Nkrumah of the CPP, and Mr Slyvester Mensah, immediare past boss of the National Health Insurance Authority.
