Mr. Elvis Kosi Alipui, Production Manager of the Chalk Factory the Society is operating, called for support to fight termites that had destroyed cartons of chalk produced by the Society in their warehouse in Accra.

Mr. Alipui said so far 18,000 boxes of chalk have been destroyed by the termites and this is hampering the Society’s ability to supply the Ghana Education Service, its main client, with the needed quantity of their products.

He said the Society therefore needed the support of public-spirited individuals and organisations to assist them in their production.

Mr. Alipui said the Society needed more machines to produce more chalk to meet demand.
