Mr. Gene Cretz, the US Ambassador in Ghana, on Wednesday paid a working visit to some institutions in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis to familiarize himself with their operations.
The institutions included the Midwifery School at Effia-Nkwanta in Sekondi, the Western Naval Command, the Western Regional Minister , Zeal Environmental Technology, a waste management company, and the Jubilee Technical Training Centre at the Takoradi Polytechnic.
At the Naval Base, the Ambassador interacted with an intelligence class and cooperation project funded by the US government.
At the Regional Minister’s Office, the two officials discussed developmental issues such as roads, employment and economic growth.
