Veep bids farewell to Ambassador of State of Palestine

Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, held a farewell meeting with Mr Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalifa Al Sattari, the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ghana. 

A statement issued by the Office of the Vice President said the meeting was also attended by Madam Varsen Aghabekian, the Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr James Gyakye Quayson, Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs. 

It said the meeting marked the conclusion of Ambassador Al Sattari’s eleven years of distinguished service in Ghana. 

Vice Opoku-Agyemang said Ghana appreciates the consistency and warmth with which he carried out his diplomatic responsibilities, and the positive impact his work had had in Ghana. 

“We thank Ambassador Al Sattari for his service. We wish him well as he continues his journey, and we remain confident that the bonds he has helped to strengthen between our nations will endure,” she said.
