Applicants requiring further clarification or assistance have been encouraged to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit through the official helpline, 0302-754-200. The Ministry indicated that officers at the Client Service Unit remain available to provide guidance and address concerns related to the transition.

The Premium Passport Application Centres were introduced to provide expedited processing options for applicants seeking faster turnaround times.

The Ministry assured that the closure would not affect the processing of passport applications submitted through the standard regional centres. It further emphasised that measures have been put in place to accommodate applicants who may be affected by the transition.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality public service, assuring the general public that passport administration reforms will continue to prioritise accessibility, efficiency and improved client experience across the country.
