A delegation from Visa Facilitation Services (VFS Global) has paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson, to deepen institutional collaboration and strengthen service delivery in Ghana.
The visit, which took place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, focused on enhancing VFS operations in Ghana to ensure improved quality, transparency, and efficiency in visa and consular-related services for Ghanaian applicants.
Welcoming the delegation, Deputy Minister James Gyakye Quayson reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to working closely with all stakeholders to guarantee quality public service delivery. He underscored the importance of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in consular and administrative processes that directly affect citizens.
On his part, Mr. Kansara, representing VFS Global, briefed the Deputy Minister on the company’s establishment and operational footprint in Ghana. He expressed the organisation’s readiness to incorporate feedback from government and the public to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Both sides emphasised the need for sustained collaboration to improve service standards and ensure that visa application processes remain transparent and responsive to the needs of Ghanaians. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to maintaining professionalism and strengthening institutional cooperation.
Present at the meeting were Directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director of Legal and Education at VFS, Gbese Mantse Nii Armah Addy, and the Deputy General Manager for Operations in Ghana, Madam Cleopatra Avenorgbo.
